The purchase process is simple. First, all individuals or families should submit an application. We like to learn a little about you and how a German Shepherd will fit into your family. Owning a German Shepherd is a commitment for the life of the dog. We also want to make certain that our dogs will be a good fit for your family as well. We invite you to ask as many questions as it takes for you to make an informed decision before purchasing your Red Rock K9 Puppy.
Most of our puppies are reserved in advance before they are born. We really prefer to work with families that understand the value and are willing to wait for the next available litter or puppy. There are so many people that “shop” the Internet and are looking for the first available puppy to go out and buy the very same weekend they began wanting a German Shepherd. This seems to get many people in trouble and is perhaps one of the reasons along with our training program that we are so successful placing puppies in forever homes.
Once approved, the reservation for a Red Rock K9 Puppy can be made with a 10% deposit. Our next payment of 40% of the purchase price will not be due until the puppies are 4 weeks of age. The remaining final payment is due the week the puppy is set to graduate and depart.
We document each litters journey. You will be able to watch your puppy go from the whelping box to the training area where they will progress though our imprint training program.
After the puppies have had their first round of vaccinations we have our puppy visit week when the puppies are about 8 weeks of age.
From there, the wait will not feel long as you continue to follow the puppies training progress on our Facebook Page.
We begin our Puppy Departure Weekend with our traditional dinner at Louis where we will go over our Puppy Handbook, watch our Imprint Training DVD and teach our puppy crash course on all of the things to consider when bringing home your German Shepherd Puppy.
The Puppy Departure Day is usually on a Saturday. We demonstrate all of the training commands that your puppy has learned and answer and questions that you might have about the training.
We spend hundreds of hours preparing your puppy to enter your home. It is equally important to us that we prepare you for what to expect and how to successfully raise your German Shepherd Puppy.
We hope that our puppy departure weekend is just the beginning of our journey with our Red Rock K9 families. We make our Check Point Training Program available for all families to attend with their new Red Rock K9 Puppy.
Invest in the best with a Red Rock K9!
